As the major enamel show ‘Playing with Fire’ ends at Cheltenham Art Gallery in January, Rachel is preparing to take part in British Silver Week this coming year. Exhibition dates will be posted on the Exhibitions page as soon as they are confirmed.

Enamel Workshops 2010

Rachel has been teaching jewellery and enamelling for over twenty years and runs classes at her workshop in Redditch throughout the year.

The courses provide a relaxed and friendly environment for students of all levels from beginners through to the more experienced, to enjoy learning with the common aim of building on and improving skills.  Please click here for details of current courses and further information.

In 2009 Rachel received the Silver award in the Jewellery, Gold and Silversmiths catergory thanks to all your votes. Starting this January you can vote again - this year voting is only until 30 April so the results can be announced in the Summer 2010. Guild of Enamellers - Spring Journal

In the Spring 2010 Journal look out for the article Rachel has submitted  'Enamelling on Palladium'. Rachel explains her exploration of this 'new metal' , how it enamels and the article is illustrated with a series of photographs showing how the work was completed. The article is also available on the Guild website. 

The Guild of Enamellers is a national association with seven UK regions and many overseas members, whose aim is to promote the craft of enamelling. Rachel was Chairman in it's 30th year and hosted the annual Conference in April 2009 in York with an impressive line up of guest enamel tutors and speakers including the internationally renowned enamel artist Fred Rich. Goldsmiths’ Craft and Design Council Awards

In 2007 Rachel won the Silver Award in the Senior Enamellers section for her Purse Mirror at this prestigious annual event. At the Awards Ceremony at the Goldsmiths’ Hall she received her award from the Prime Warden.
