Her career as a successful designer maker of contemporary silver and enamel jewellery has attracted numerous awards from The Platinum Corporation and The Goldsmiths' Craft Council amongst others and she has undertaken a number a major commissions from a variety of patrons including The Lord Mayor of York and The Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths'. Rachel Gogerly is a member of The British Society of Enamellers, Chairman of The Guild of Enamellers, Past Chair of the Solihull Artists Forum and a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths'. As a leading contemporary designer and expert in her field, Rachel Gogerly has lectured on the techniques of fine enamelling and taught enamelling for several colleges and universities: until recently she was the enamelling tutor at The School of Jewellery in Birmingham. She now offers a programme of private courses at her own workshop. Rachel Gogerly exhibits her work widely in the UK. She is a regular exhibitor at Art in Action, Bovey Tracey Goldsmiths' Fair, along with a number of other shows across the country every year. In addition, Rachel Gogerly receives regular press and media coverage, including Crafts Magazine, Craft and Design Magazine, Retail Jeweller, Yorkshire TV, BSOE Newsletter, Anglia TV and Homes & Gardens magazine.

About Rachel 

Rachel Gogerly graduated with a BA honours degree in 1986, which included studying for a year in one of London's leading enamel studios where she was classically trained in the fine techniques and finishing processes of champlevé basse taille and guilloché.
